Sport Pilot, Private Pilot and Instrument Rating
("Non-Career" Program)
This learning
plan is designed for the individual who wants to
Learn to fly for personal / recreational reasons.
The student
will be in the same courses as Commercial Aviators
(assuring the best Aviation Education and
Coordinated Training).
This learning
plan is broken into (2) – 6 week courses (Sport
Pilot / Private Pilot and Instrument Rating).
At the
completion of this learning plan the student will be
prepared for their:
- Sport
Pilot License (SP)
- Private
Pilot License (Private Pilot Certificate) (PPL)
- Instrument Rating (IFR)
ADDITIONAL

Price
$4500.00
Concerning Your Aircraft & Flight Instructor
Expenses:
The rating, program, or aircraft you choose will
determine your overall costs.
- All ratings have
different flight hour requirements and therefore
different costs.
- Our training aircraft prices range
from $85 to well over $100 per hour.
- In-Plane
flight
instruction rates with ATU Certified Professionals
are $35 per hour.
We'll be happy
to discuss your particular flight training needs and
will honor our commitment to make your flight
instruction affordable in every way. If you'd like
to work with us while you're training and be able to
pay for your pilot training as you go along, this
can be arranged.
U.S. Business
Owners using their non-career curriculum to fly for
business reasons are eligible for certain tax
benefits - please consult your tax professional to
