ATU, Inc. - ASSOCIATE PROGRAM...
ATU's Associate
Program underscores our commitment to affordable
flight training.
Most flight schools, pilot
training, and flight instruction institutions
recommend a number of high-interest student loans to
pay for flight training expenses. During the
course of professional pilot training, however, most
flight schools fail to provide additional income
sources to allow students to further reduce their
flight training costs. In addition, commercial
flight training programs are not generally
structured to take advantage of a number of
legitimate tax deductions.
After completing commercial
flight training most new pilots are faced with
significant personal debt. If they are fortunate
enough to obtain professional employment it can
take an entire career to repay their student loans.
ATU, Inc. offers you an effective way to avoid
significant debt and help you pay for your flight
training at the same time. You can elect to become
an ATU Associate.
As one of our Associates
you can operate as an independent contractor and
make your services available to the school on a
job-related basis. As with the case of a contract
flight instructor you, too, would be operating your
own independent business. Your business would
consist of promoting, developing, selling, and
conducting flight education and training services.
ATU would contract with you and pay you for a
variety of school-related jobs. As an independent
contractor your business and operating costs would
represent a tax-deductible expense.
* Working in this way
you can earn substantial income and write off
approximately half of your flight training costs.
The examples below focus on the income opportunities
that can go hand in hand with the logging of your
required flight hours. They also illustrate the
tax-deductible benefits that are available to you as
an independent contractor.
HOW TO
MAKE MONEY TO PAY FOR FLIGHT SCHOOL...
Why would you borrow money to go TO flight school
when you can make and save money by going THROUGH
flight school? The only income source currently
available in pilot schools is flight instruction.
But ten or twelve dollars an hour doesn't pay for
much of anything. Only ATU offers you six exciting
ways to earn substantial income to help pay for your
flight school and pilot training:
1. You will be paid for
recruiting students and expanding our promotional
programs.
You will receive
$300.00 for each student your successfully recruit.
2. You will be eligible
to teach other students in a classroom setting.
You will be paid
$250.00 for each student making up your class.
3. You can conduct
flight training for us as a contract flight
instructor.
You will earn
$35.00 per hour and keep every penny!
4. You can help host our
business seminars for professional flight
instructors.
You will receive a
percentage of seminar revenue in each instance.
5. You can work in our
aviation consulting and development programs that we
make
available to flight instructors, small flight
schools and fixed-based operators.
You will earn a
percentage of revenues depending upon your level of
involvement.
6. Following
1 year of service as one of our contract flight
instructors, you will receive
a 5% profit sharing bonus for all your classroom
teaching.
(and don't
forget that if your interest is in developing your
own aviation business, we are here to help [with
arguably the best support system currently available
to independent business operators in the aviation
industry]).
HOW YOU
CAN DEDUCT HALF OF YOUR FLIGHT SCHOOL EXPENSES...
ATU's basic flight training package is built around
a total of 250 flight hours. Only about half of this
hourly number require the training services of a
flight instructor. This means that approximately
half of your flight training expenses are made up
solely of aircraft rental. Someone has to pay for
the airplane as you fly up those 100+ hours. At
today's rates that can amount to well over $12,000.
Is there a way that these hours can be legally
deducted from your flight training expenses? For an ATU Associate the answer is yes!
As an ATU Associate you can combine your "hour
building" with your independent business. Rather
than simply "burning gas and polluting the
environment" to build flight hours, you can promote
your independent business as you fly from place to
place! Student recruitment, program development,
and consulting services are only a small part of
your independent business.
From the moment you become
and Independent Business Owner and all
expenses associated with your flight become
business-related! This includes aircraft rental,
food, fuel, etc. Besides being able to write off
these expenses you're now in a position to earn
substantial income as you accumulate your required
flight hours. You'll want to contact us for
additional information on how you can become an ATU
Associate.
*DISCLAIMER -- ATU, Inc. does not offer tax advice
to its students. We provide an education and
training facility designed solely to provide
professional flight training to individuals of all
ages and income levels. We suggest that you consult
the services of an accountant or a CPA to insure
that your independent business activities conform to
Federal, State, and Local tax codes.
