All ATU
Learning Plans are customizable. You set the time, you set
the tempo and you decide when you are ready to
implement what you have learned.
ATU's
Flexible Curriculum Model makes it possible for us
to design learning plans for many
students taking one or more specific flight ratings
but not seeking a complete career program. This
arrangement is also ideal for career-minded students
who wish to lengthen a training program for any
reason. You may also take one or more classes at the
same time using this arrangement.

Concerning Your Aircraft & Flight Instructor
Expenses:
The rating, program, or aircraft you choose will
determine your overall costs.
- All ratings have
different flight hour requirements and therefore
different costs.
- Our training aircraft prices range
from $85 to well over $100 per hour.
- In-Plane
flight
instruction rates with ATU Certified Professionals
are $35 per hour.
We'll be happy
to discuss your particular flight training needs and
will honor our commitment to make your flight
instruction affordable in every way. If you'd like
to work with us while you're training and be able to
pay for your pilot training as you go along, this
can be arranged.
U.S. Business
Owners using their non-career curriculum to fly for
business reasons are eligible for certain tax
benefits - please consult your tax professional to
